Το VZ studio για την εκθεσιακή του επανεκκίνηση κάλεσε τρεις νέους εικαστικούς, τον Γιάννη Γαγρίνα, την Κατερίνα Χαραλαμπίδου και την Βούλα Χατζοπούλου προκειμένου να συνεργαστούν στο πλαίσιο ενός καλοκαιρινού workshop με την θεωρητικό τέχνης Θάλεια Στεφανίδου.
Με το γενικό τίτλο The great departure ο Γιάννης Γαγρίνας θα παρουσιάσει το έργο του “the secret of the golden flower”, ένα κάθετο γλυπτικό τοτέμ με επτά σφαιρικά σύνολα από φυσικά υλικά που ελκύουν την προσοχή του. Μία συναρμογή σε ανέλιξη, όπου ταξινομούνται οι αρχικές ύλες με εμφανή τον μεταποιητικό τους χαρακτήρα.
Η Κατερίνα Χαραλαμπίδου με το “journey of the Urani”, δημιούργησε ένα οριζόντιο σχεδιαστικό ανάπτυγμα , πλάθοντας άλεκτα αφηγήματα και σχολιάζοντας με αυτόν τον τρόπο τη ρευστότητα.
Με την βιντεοπροβολή της “private view” η Βούλα Χατζοπούλου σχολιάζει επίσης τη ρευστότητα της ύλης. Η καλλιτεχνική της πρακτική παράγει ένα βύθισμα και μία διάχυση σε κάτι που δεν έχει όρια.
Τον σχολιασμό των έργων κάνει σε κείμενο της η ιστορικός τέχνης και επιμελήτρια της έκθεσης Θάλεια Στεφανίδου.

For its exhibition re-launch VZ studio invited three young visual artists, Yannis Gagrinas, Katerina Charalampidou and Voula Hatzopoulou in order to collaborate in a summer workshop with the art theorist ThaleaStefanidou.
Under the general title The great departure, Yannis Gagrinas will present the artwork “the secret of the golden flower”, a vertical sculptural totem with seven spherical sets made of natural materials that attract his attention. An assembly in ascension, where the original materials are sorted with theirmanufacturing character evident.
With the artwork “journey of the Urani” Katerina Charalampidou has created a horizontal drawn spread, shaping unarticulated narratives and commenting on fluidity.
With her videoprojection “private view” Voula Hatzopoulou also comments on the fluidity of matter. Her artistic practice produces a submersion and a visual diffusion in something that has no limits.
The text commentary of the work is written by the art historian and curator of the exhibition Thalea Stefanidou.
